Prof. Mao Peihua

Professor Mao Peihua is a doctoral supervisor, Associate Dean of the School of Economics, and Chair of the Department of Political Economy at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He earned his bachelor's degree from Xuzhou Normal University (now Jiangsu Normal University) and later received both his master's and doctoral degrees from Fudan University. His research focuses on income distribution, economic transition, and Marxist economic theory. He teaches Das Kapital and Socialist Economic Theory. He has published over 40 papers in leading journals, authored several books, and led multiple provincial and ministerial research projects. He has received honors including "Outstanding Young University Teacher Candidate" from the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and "Best Teacher in My Heart" at SUFE.
